Eastbourne Borough announce the signing of Kai Woollard-Innocent from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
The 24-year-old defender is joining the Sports for the fourth time in his career, following two prior loan periods and one permanent transfer.
He initially moved to the East Sussex coast during the 2020/21 season and was nearly always present as the Sports advanced to the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup, where they lost to Blackpool in a match held behind closed doors at Priory Lane.
That season was declared null and void in February 2021, and he returned on loan from QPR towards the end of the next season to assist the Sports in securing a spot in the National South play-offs.
After departing QPR in the summer of 2022, he joined Borough permanently and was again nearly ever-present as the Sports narrowly missed the top seven. Kai then moved to Havant & Waterlooville last season before joining Hemel Hempstead at the beginning of this campaign.
